Once one becomes a Republican, a real Republican that is, you and everyone in your family will be immune to sin. It's like dunking witches; if anyone in the family sins you know they're not real Republicans. /s

The Bible says that fornication, defined as the sin of impurity between unmarried persons, is a sin (2 Cor 12:21, Gal 5:19), but it also says "All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God." (Rom 3:23) We often think one sin is worse than another, but God doesn't have a list of best to worst. Some sins have more consequences than others, but if a person repents, God will forgive both "major" and "minor" sins.
