Do not agree. As long as they are married they cannot be compelled to testify against each other. And, as a Former President & US Senator package, they command much higher graft and enjoy de facto immunity from prosecution.
Finally, none of the constraints of a real marriage affect them anyway. So it is in their best interests to maintain the legal fiction of a union.
