Just days after Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin was made the surprise Republican candidate for vice president, she has been vigorously attacked on left-wing blogs and even her hometown newspapers.
It's a stark contrast from the 80 per cent approval rating she enjoys as governor in an out-of-the-way state.

I see most have jumped the ridiculous “out of the way state” . All I have to say is that irrelevant, juvenile, and downright moronic statements are actually quite typical these fake journalists who always seem to be liberal. (really Il-liberal better describes them) But Im sure you already know that. LOL

Problem for the MSM was they had nothing bad to run. They were so ready for a “blindside” choice like Lieberman and got caught with their pants down.
Watch them come out that in one game Palin took a shot she shouldn't have or made a bad pass.

an out-of-the-way state... It's only the largest state in the union.

I find those pregnancy stories about Palin to be particularly disgusting. The claim that her last child was really her daughter's illegitimate baby is beyond belief. Imagine the fuss if some right wing nuts had spread false rumors about Chelsea Clinton being pregnant. Of course the MSM hypocrites ignored John Edwards’ love child.

Maybe that she was a ball hog! But seriously, she should challenge Hussein to a game of Around the World. Or at least, bowling.

Maybe someone should ask Obama if Alaska is the 57th state?

> these idiot DBM reporters have been referring to Alaska as some, “Who gives a care about.” kind of state.
They are no doubt trying to bring back the notion of Alaska as “Seward’s Folly.”

I think their only industries are the toll road and a chemical plant across the river from Philly. Explosives manufacturers and Credit Card companies. The latter are more destructive. Both like Delaware.

I think it must be somewhere around that Delaware memorial bridge, that would probably be a good place to start looking. I do know for a fact that Nascar has found at least a mile of Delaware and build a track facility around it. . .other than that though, I don’t think anyone has come up with a real need to find it.

governor in an out-of-the-way stateSo I guess it's OK to drill in ANWR, since it's only an "out-of-the-way state"?
How dumb can you get? Their arguments for not drilling in ANWR is neutered by their own "logic". How can they, on one hand, dismiss Alaska as an "out-of-the-way state", but on the other hand take Alaska so seriously (ANWR and drilling)?
This pick of Sarah Palin as the future VP has the left tied up in all sorts of knots.

Alaska is where most of our own oil is located. They had better start taking it seriously!

LOL... what do they think Delaware is?My local radio station runs parody ads. One of them was from the Delaware Tourist Bureau. Their jingle/slogan was "See it all...before noon...Delaware!"

In the Freeper tradition of nicknaming politicians I hereby tender that VP Palin be referred to (as often as possible) on this thread as: The Goddess.

To add to my comments, I can bet that during the VP debates conducted by the MSM, no one will ask a question concerning ANWR and drilling. The MSM will know that Biden and the left will have their clocks cleaned by SP, just on that topic alone.
Even those "independent" voters have to say, "how the heck can someone from the state of Delaware or a community organizer from Chicago know more about ANWR than the governor of the state where ANWR is located?"

I lived in Dover for a little more than three years. Nice little town. I live now perhaps 90 minutes or two hours from Dover and a little less than three hours from the beaches, so I go back once or twice a year. It’s always nice to go see what’s changed and what hasn’t, and you really can do all you need to do in less than a full day.

The Obama camp released a new ad Saturday saying that McCain-Palin is just "more of the same" but doesn't explicitly mention Palin by name. "Well, he's made his choice," the ad says. "But, for the rest of us there's still no change.Sure, Barry, and just how many times have you changed anything? Merely being present a few times during a voting session doesn't bring about change.
