As a resident of southeast LA, I concur, gracesdad! Too many people who didn’t “wait around” have been falsely maligned because the media didn’t portray any who left — just those who didn’t.
Thanks jllh. My parents are safe, but this is obviously taking a toll on their mental and physical health, and their home in Thibodaux might take Cat 4 to 5 hit. They had just finished fixing it up to move back near their kids. Who knows now?
