I read the ‘excuse’ that someone posted in this thread and folks, it was weak. He wasn’t even discussing Falwell before or after. He was gleeful that a major hurricane was going to wreck havoc,destruction, and death because of the perceived political benefit to the democrats! That’s it..plain and simple.
Do you have a link to a statement by Fowler where he says it was a ‘private conversation’? No doubt that if this crass comment gets legs after this hurricane hits, he will try that, but I don’t see how it can fly. Too many precedent setting lawsuits concerning this sort of thing.
You still get a price for predicting it though....LOL
