We've had colleagues call in just to gush.
Writers at the Corner are receiving emails 20 to 1 in favor of the pic.
We've been told of former politicians—older, seasoned men—who wept for joy at the news.
Palin is simply a fantastic pic.
And yet, America is going to have to hear a bunch of really stupid, offensive, disgusting things said about her. It's already begun.
Steny Hoyer compares her to Dan Quayle . . . which is neither fair to her nor to Quayle. This is, of course, an attempt to create a meme where—like Quayle—she is a punch line to every joke.
They're going to trot out their women talking heads to tell us all that Palin's not ready. Using women (or women choosing to participate) in this endeavor is just more of the Democrats' practice of using sources who cannot be criticized, like wounded veterans, 9/11 widows, or Christopher Reeves. We cannot criticize a woman's take on Palin because, well, a woman would know best about another woman. Blather.
Their hate and misogyny is already on display:
- Democrats and the left love gays as long as gays vote the right way. If the gay is Republican, however, they go into a frenzy of gay-hate worse than piranha in an underwater abattoir.
- Now that they've stopped enslaving, lynching, and segregating blacks, they portray themselves as the only safe home for blacks: but dare to leave their plantation, and it's 24/7 of "house slave" and "uncle tom" and "race-traitor" and Chucky Schumer rifling through your credit file.
- Women are perfectly wonderful—as long as they're pathetic single women who need the government to be their husband. As soon as . . .

The VP debate is going to feature Joe "Beltway Boy" Biden trying to marginalize Governor Palin. Here's a suggestion for his opening statment: "What trees does she plant? What programs does she bring?"
It's alos possible that when he starts waving his hand to emphasize a point, he could end up with a bloody stump.

Im not a former politician but like the article I also wept for joy at the news. I was driving to the dentists with a really awful abscess, yowling in pain and listening to Limbaugh carry her speech and occasionally cheering.

How is it that the left gets half of Americas votes? It's because they own the educational system and only half of us are capable of overcoming the indoctrination and thinking for ourselves.

So true. I was so proud when I heard that Palin had gotten the nomination, in part of the fact that she actually lived out her pro-life stand. It makes me think that she’ll fight hard for Judges.

All I can say is if they like that 9% approval rating then keep talking because I’m sure it’s going to drop. Let’s say we have working women who haven’t made up their minds yet yet hear everyone of these idiot Democrats telling them that just because they have a child that they can’t work and belong at home? Yes that sure is going to make them vote for the party that doesn’t think a Mother can handle a job and kids. Only the pro abort women will vote for them and they aren’t really that big of a percentage.

Palin is simply a fantastic pic.Pic - ending with a 'C' - or should it come with an extra 'K'? Either way, it kinda works...
