Why not send all the delegates et al down to NOLA to help out? Skip all the unimportant speeches and do the nomination vote from ground zero in NOLA. Mac and Palin can do speeches from there. What a contrast. The Dems have an American Idol convention and the Republicans have a “working” convention, actually helping those in need, while the Dems only talk about it.

Great idea. But remember, it's not one's actions that count, but the PC-ness of one's ideas.

Especially Blanc-O. It was GOVERNOR Blanc-O'S CALL to activate the Southeast Louisiana Evacuation Plan that had been rewritten the year before (by none other than Jamie Lee Whitt, x42's FEMA man).

Think about it: A probable Cat5 heading straight for NOrleans and she refuses (even after prodding by George Bush himself), to evacuate.

Especially what happenend with Bush and Katrina. It seems that him vacationing during that time really came back to bite him. Though it seems disappointing, we have to remember who we are dealing with a very biased media.
