There is a huge difference between an energized voter and a lackadaisical voter. An energized voter will go out in a rainstorm to make sure their vote gets cast, a lackadaisical one will sleep in or just not think about it until too late. An energized voter will energize undecideds in their circle of friends and acquaintances, a lackadaisical voter will bring everyone down. The energized voter will donate time and money, the lackadaisical one will say, I am casting my vote, that is more than enough.

There is a difference and the Democratic party will soon get the feeling of that difference running up their collective legs.

A lackadaisical voter is just what I was until yesterday. I haven’t even read the political forum in months and months, I was just ignoring it, hoping it would go away.

I was going to hold my nose and vote for McCain and now I can’t wait.
