FK, as a practical matter, when Palin says that we are furthering God's plan by fighting the war in Iraq, incidentally destroying one of the most ancient Christian cultures on earth in the process, she is proclaiming holy war as surely as if she used those very words. As an Orthodox Christian I find that more than just disturbing. Any Christian should.

As an Orthodox Christian I find that more than just disturbing. Any Christian should. Well, if it hasn't been done already, I'd feel much more comfortable responding if I had a quote to go from. I haven't seen exactly what she said. Given the scope of what we think God's plan is, "furthering God's plan" is harmless and true.
