Stay Classy Daily Kos: Accusations Palin 'Faked Her Pregnancy' of Down's Syndrome baby

Taking a look at the stories in the Old Media will show that the Media is turning attack dog ASAP on McCain's choice for vice president, Sarah Palin. Notice the main meme is her supposed "inexperience." Funny how Palin was the VP pick for about 15 seconds before the Old Media went after her "inexperience" while they have yet to hit Barry Obama on HIS inexperience at all and he's been running for president since 2004. We should also note that Palin didn't get the honeymoon that Biden got when his announcement was made. But, the worst is yet to come and the Daily Kos is doing its level best to mine the lowest of lows. In a Kos diary today, it is being alleged that Sarah Palin "faked" the pregnancy of her last child, a baby born with Down's Syndrome. The claim is that it was her teenaged daughter's child, not hers. And, true to form, the Kossacks took that absurd calumny and hate even further in the comments.

Tell me something, O; if McCain/Palin win, will you and your sophisticated discourse be an example of what America and the world can expect from the Evangelical/Republican Party Administration (in addition to talking in tongues at summit meetings and requiring everyone to bring their own snake of course)?

Don't forget the poison! They have to have something to drink to make a point.

Her comments that Ukraine and Georgia should be brought into NATO and then if Russia attacks them we go to war with Russia makes her a nutcase

Maybe the McCains didn't tell her that Russian have nuclear weapons (maybe that will be covered in next week's class) and that a Russo-American war would be a no-win scenario. Talk about a highway to nowhere...

I also think she is not doing any expectant mothers any favors with her idea that one can have a baby and be back at work three days later.

I think the women who are so enamored with her may have to re-examine their etnhuisasm when they realize that employers could begin to hold women to Palin's standard.

If the Governor can do it why not everyone else? Why would one have to put up with 8 to 12 weeks of maternity leave, having to hire temps, when it is obvious that women don't need more than three days, as the Governor clearly demonstrated?

I believe, wrongly perhaps, that Apostolic Christians on these threads only think prayer is by rote, not from the heart. You can pray what your prayer book tells you to, but please don’t make one up yourself. That’s heresy. I hope I’m wrong.

Fine, you and your buddy can vote for Obama while you hold hands and tell each other how smart you are.

An Obama ad claimed to have vetted 159 blogs for the Obama convention. The Daily KOS was one of those blogs. That makes the Daily KOS an official spokesperson of the DNC.

Pres. F. Roosevelt was liberal by our standards, yet the only member of Congress who voted against declaring war on Japan in 1941 was a Republican congresswoman.

FDR also refused to help our European friends for two years when they needed us.

I can't think of a single American president, no matter how liberal by your standards, who would have done what you suggest—surrender immediately or negotiate for a while and then surrender.

Carter surrendered in effect to the terrorists by refusing to do anything about the hostage crisis for 444 days. Only at the end did he even try something. Clinton in effect surrendered to the terrorists by thinking only of himself in refusing Osama who was offered to him on a silver platter. Finally, if Obama had been in charge just before the surge he would have surrendered in effect to the terrorists by leaving Iraq at all costs. Today, Iraq would be led by Al Qaida and Iran.

By the same token, the individual Christian beliefs of the Founding Fathers have nothing to do with the documents of Independence and how the United States of America was defined as a state.

I don't see how anyone can divorce the faiths of the Founders from how this country was originally designed. For many Christians, faith is integral to their lives. They LIVE their faiths. Therefore their faiths come through in everything they do, such as starting a country. Given what I've heard said about Orthodoxy, it surprises me you would disagree with that.

Again, their individual beliefs notwithstanding, where do you find Christ mentioned specifically in the Declaration of Independence or the U.S. Constitution?

I quoted to you Bible passages identifying Christ AS Creator. It's right there in the Declaration.

Also, Ben Franklin says in his own autobiography that he was a deist. Yet the Judge you quote seems to imply otherwise. He knows better than Ben Franklin himself?

I have no idea what Franklin's Deism entailed. Just as liberals and conservatives today are much different from a long time ago, the term Deist may have had a much different meaning back then. It's not telling either way anyway. He was one man.

FDR also refused to allow ships carrying 900 Jews into this country.

While I know there are a lot of rote prayers for them, I am sure they would say their prayers are heartfelt and they are free to pray whatever they want that is in line with their Church teaching. My issue is much more with who those prayers are to, since it appears to be the case that they are directly to God comparatively less and to others comparatively more.

Like Mary and the other Saints. As you know, Apostolics argue that praying to Mary, etc., is the same as one of us asking for prayer from a friend. I am forced to deny that explanation since I have read too many of these prayers that ask for specific supernatural things, NOT from God, but directly from the Saint him or herself. I don't ask my friends on earth to grant me supernatural requests, but that is the common practice for Apostolics. :) So, I can only conclude that the prayer is actually TO the Saint, and NOT TO God.

Well for one reason...

Raw Journolist emails on ‘Palin’s Downs child’

When Google's cache has been wiped cleaned of the KOS thread,
Newsbusters became the best place on the web for the most complete archive available.

Newsbusters watches the crap so you won't have to.
