Let’s get back to the sexism. Is it just me (I’m male and not a feminist) or is there unmistakable sexism in the criticism of Palin. How can you say Obama has foreign policy experience and she doesn’t? There’s an undercurrent of assumption that she won’t be able to handle foreign affairs because she’s female. I have no doubt she’d stand up to Putin or that Iranian jackass better than Obama would. She has a record of standing up to power; he doesn’t. He has always gone along with the corrupt Chicago machine.
Spot on and well worth repeating. Hope the McCain people hammer the Dems and the MSM (I repeat myself) on this.
Seems to be some angry (left/dem) feminist sentiment that Obama ran a brutally sexist and racist campaign against Hillary (illustrated in the comment threads over at Talk Left). What worked in the exotic rarefied air of the democrat primaries, though, may be distinctly counterproductive if employed against Palin in the GE.
If I didn't know for a fact that John McCain was a dull conventional fossil completely incapable of asymmetrically imaginative strategic maneuvers, I'd swear that one reason he put Palin out there was to bait Obama into doing something tactically stupid.
