While at the same time launching a climate team that includes looking at "mitigation" measures. I don't say this to trash her, in any way. I just hope that the skeptic in her remains stronger than the forces that will try to convince her otherwise.
She is agressively seeking to exploit Alaska's oil and gas potential. While not giving government handouts for oil companies to build pipelines.
I support and admire that.
Alaska is clearly experiencing warming. Palin has noted that there is no evidence that the warming is human-caused. But she also has to deal with the reality that the climate in Alaska has changed significantly over the last couple of decades.
