My prediction - 20% (minimum) of true Hillary supporters will vote McCain with Palin on the ticket.

That would roughly equate to an immeidate 5% of the electorate shifting to the McCain column vs. Obama at the ballot box.

5% is a big problem for Obama to overcome with the current polling data.

Your estimate is low, very low, if the bloggers are any indication, and I believe they are.
