That bounce is very normal and will be gone within a day or so.
Obama is not the story anymore. Sarah is.

This is normal but if I am mistaken his bounce is less than Kerry and Gore got out of their conventions. Will have to see after new polls come out. I believe many democrats are worried that Obama does not have a much bigger lead at this point in the contest. His media coverage (sickingly biased) is not translating to the kind of lead most expected.
I have heard that 12 is normal, and they spent Millions on this being the biggest and best of all. In short, 8 is a pretty flat tire and Sarah just took the cookie jar. Bet the polls show a bigger spike for McCain tomorrow, all without the convention, fireworks and temple effects...
Substance over form takes the cake anyday.
