Agree fully. I would say I am surprised, but McCain makes so many idiotic decisions it is just one more. This move will certainly hurt McCain.

That's unbelievable. Every single poster was thrilled with McCain's choice.
McCain did the right thing and it just happens to be the politically brilliant thing as well.

Anyone know what the Kool Aid Drinkers on the other side are saying about the pick?

I suspect, because so many of them believe in their racial and ethnic class politics, that they aren’t happy. I hope so...

True. But Hillary intends to be the first female president, and just the thought that Palin might steal her prize will freak her out.

“...With barely 18 months experience as governor, Palin is not qualified to be Vice President...”

Those 18 months make her 3 times more experienced than BO to be POTUS.

In 4 years, she will be very experienced and able to take on and defeat Hillary.

Oh, they and the MSM are already attacking the hell out of her.

They have already reloaded their weapons and continue to pump round after round into their own feet!

This is great news. I was feeling a little encouraged when The One’s poll numbers started dropping, and now I’m more encouraged.

Barack won't attack her on inexperience, but the media certainly will. And, McCain can not attack Obama on his lack of experience unless he wishes to look foolishly hypocritical.

How can the media attack her, the VP pick, on inexperience without the obvious comparision to The One, who has less experience and leads the ticket?

I can’t see how it would work.

That was classic McCain  A head fake to Pawlenty (who's a good man)....................and then right on over to Palin for the slam dunk.
--A solid Conservative; pro-life and a beautiful smart woman; a Life-long NRA Member and a Hockey Mom LOVE IT!!
Now, all the groups who were poised to walk from the polls will be coming back to the booth. And a lot of former Hillary folks and fence-sitters, too!

Great Team!

And the weasels over in Dim land are already trying to criticize her at the pick....................."she's against a woman's right to choose", "she's for oil drilling", etc, etc...................

I have never been a McCain supporter and frankly dreaded the thought of having to vote for him. Not now!

Having said that, conservatives and FReepers in particular, will have to keep pressure on him re illegal immigration.

Geraldine Ferraro made the exact same points I did on FOX.

But it won’t stop the tone-deaf idiots in the Obama campaign or their minions in the MSM.

It’s all to our benefit.

How do you figure? Obama has about 3 1/2 years as being a United States Senator and he was elected from a large state. Before that he was a state senator of a large state. In addition he was EIC of the Harvard Law Review and a graduate of Colmbia University, an Ivy league school.

Obama is not qualified enough to be President. But, he blows Palin away. 18 months as governor and two terms on the Wasilla City Council doesn't cut it. She is nothing more than an affirmative action pick.
