MSNBC already bashing her experience to be Pres when Mac’s heart stops beating...no mention of Obama’s lack of experience. MSNBC is sad. They have to learn how to say her name sayd morning Joe. Meeka says she is surprised. morning joe says this could go Dan Quayle way or Ferraro way. “Why did they take this risk”? says Joe:)

IMO, this won't fly with the public. Joe Public sees a governor as someone that CAN handle running a large organization, while a Senator just sits and votes and acts snobbish. More governors have been elected president than senators, by far - so I think this perception of their abilities is widespread. The McCain camp just needs to keep referring to it - but it will be hard to compare since McCain's only experience is in the Senate as well.

And, actually, I suspect that this will be a pounding-point for McCain's campaign: Palin has more executive experience than Obama does. Plus which, she might actually have a clue about "energy independence."
