I look at what a person did and rate it.
Willard Mitt Romney:

Olympics = neutral.
Staples = good.
Mass. governor = very negative (only a far leftest
could be elected).
Romney-care = bad, total fraud.
Bain Capital = bad (Corporate Raiders.

Please don’t take this as criticism, just an honest take.

“Olympics = neutral.”

Neutral? Turning a program that was far in the red into a $100 million dollar profit is neutral?

“Staples = good.”

Don’t forget Dominos of Office Depot

“Mass. governor = very negative (only a far leftest
could be elected).”

If the only options are to move to the left, and get some of what you want, or die on your sword and get none of what you want but stay pure, I’ll move left. It is pragmatism. You can not change a system from the outside. Had he made such a shift in Texas or South Carolina then yeah, I’d have been unhappy with it too. But in Mass? Not so much.

“Romney-care = bad, total fraud.”

Romney’s healthcare plan adopted free market principles in order to solve a healthcare problem. It is little different than mandated car insurance.

“Bain Capital = bad (Corporate Raiders.”

Bain Capital is responsible for the creation of thousands of jobs and millions of dollars for our economy. It is due to that company that other companies like Dominos and Staples are successes.
