You make a good point.
There WOULD be a down-side to having him be J. Sidney’s VP pick. Namely, that he would no longer represent me in the House of Representatives.

Why not? We already have too many Conservatives in the House, getting Cantor out of there is good strategy, right? So you think having a solid Conservative in the US House outweights having one as VP? Think you might want to rethink your stategy here Slick.
