Registered Voters. Today’s Rasmussen poll of Likely Voters has them tied.

Isn't it interesting that the Gallup poll is getting tons of coverage, but the Rasmussen poll gets none. This includes FNC's coverage.

Rasmussen weighs by party ID, this will negate much of the convention bump detected by Gallup. Weighing by party ID forces polls to be very stable, since it will ignore Indies shifting to D as a result of the convention. Gallup detects that.

Looks like the last night was something like 53-40 for Obama, and the next two nights should be in the same range, at least. So, on Sat Gallup will show Obama with a double digit lead, almost certainly. Sad to say, but they appeared to put on a much more successfull convention than in 2004.
