45 to 48 is “on pace” to a double digit bounce????
The article misstates the lag time of the poll. It only partially reflects the first 2 nights and doesn’t reflect the 3rd night at all. The convention won’t be fully accounted for until the Monday polls are out. So Obama may be on pace for a bigger bounce — but Rasmussen still has the race even.
Don’t let ‘em BS you. With Plus or minus 3 points for margin of error 48% for the Messiah becomes 48 - 3 =45; for McCain 42 + 3 =45, a dead heat. This shows you how pollsters manipulate polls. When you see numbers greater than the margin of error, then it might be true.
