I saw Pawlenty on Fox this morning and I must say he is better than I thought.

Yes but they can be memorable. Cheney gutting Edwards with his bare hands, comes to mind.
That's true, but imo McCain needs a vp who can aggressively, factually address the issues. Particularly with the media. Which relates well to debate performance as well. I think most of the probable choices can handle that, though I haven't heard Pawlenty much.
