In a surprising attempt to stifle broadcast criticism of its candidate, the presidential campaign of freshman Illinois senator Barack Obama is organizing supporters to confront Chicago's WGN radio station for having a critic of the Illinois Democrat on its main evening discussion program.
"WGN radio is giving right-wing hatchet man Stanley Kurtz a forum to air his baseless, fear-mongering terrorist smears," Obama's campaign wrote in an e-mail sent to supporters. "He's currently scheduled to spend a solid two-hour block from 9:00 to 11:00 p.m. (Wednesday night) pushing lies, distortions, and manipulations about Barack and University of Illinois professor William Ayers."

That ought to keep you busy for awhile...LOL
Thanks for the links!
I’d like to McCain make this into an ad. “The Obama campaign is attempting to stop tv and radio stations from disseminating information about his past associations with the domestic terrorist William Ayres. What is it that he doesn’t want you to know?”
Maybe another: Obama’s campaign wants the United States Department of Justice to jail a man for making ads revealing his past association with the unrepentant domestic terrorist. The Obama campaign has even ordered news stations to say nothing about this. Does Senator Obama believe in free speech? Don’t you have the right to know?
SNORT.
Note to the LAT: Maybe to you...
Is it just me, or does this sound like something a third world dictator would do?
Think about it, even if everything Kurtz was saying was unture & lies doesn’t he have a right to say it? Last I recall we still had the right to free speech in this country.
I think Obama trying to stop this does a lot more damage than what Kurtz would do on the program.
Freedom of speech is one of the liberals’ greatest assets. It allows them to write, speak, and express themselves in public in the grossest, most improper, and most offensive ways.
Yeah, FOX is about as Republican as Joe Lieberman, Chuck Hagel, or Lincoln Chaffee.
I am listening to the WGN conversation with Stanley Kurtz as I write.
I encourage everyone to listen to it and to tell your friends to do the same.
I heard of a new group that needs to be exposed-Gamaliel Foundation.
Here is the link to the WGN podcast of the program.
