Obama was part right when he said the US shouldn’t set bad examples if it wants to criticize actions such as Russia’s invasion of Georgia. He just had the wrong example (as usual). We should have stayed away from the Serbia/Kososvo situation beyond some humanitarian aid.
Among other motives, the Russians are taking a swipe at the US as revenge for our action against Serbia. And they do have a point as the Serbia/Georgia situations do have some things in common.
That was NATO.
Clinton went along as a wag the dog over his domestic problems.
The situation was instigated by the Germans, not the US, as this poster contends.
