These poor deluded fools probably thought it would be just like standing across from the White House with their “Bushitler” signs. The nice policemen would merely keep them separated from the enraged normal citizens that might want to take umbrage with their asinine behavior.

Because it’s the likes of Richard Gere, liberal Hollywood activist and good buddy of the Dali Llama, and his liberal ilk that are the most ardent pro-Tibet protesters.

The Tibet situation is one that transcends the left-right paradigm. All conservatives and liberals should be united on this.

Please do not think for one moment that I “support” China, and I do agree with speaking out for those that cannot speak out for themselves, however being on this earth, seeing many protests and methods of protest yes I am confident that they are liberals. These same people that protest for a free tibet never even flinch at the mass persecution of the christian faith around the world (especially in China), including violent deaths each and everyday.

I think its a case of reflexive behavior. They’re so used to defending torture and attacking the many protests of Bush that its carrying over into a muddled defense of the PRC goons.

I am soooo sorry that I lost you with my posting. Let me try to explain.

It was a paragraph expressing a complete thought and was presented in the proper context. You chose to take one sentence out of the paragraph and draw your own conclusion about that one sentence and me. I suspect that you may be a recent public high school graduate and did not have the advantage of sentence structure and paragraph structure composition in your "English" class that I did back in 1966.

Of course those poor "activists" protesting in China did not confront nice policemen, although I was referring to the leftist trash here in the USA. The "activists" encountered thug communist trash with uniforms. I listened to a lot of weeping and wailing about how the chicoms were not permitting certain people to protest, how the chicoms were maybe perhaps putting underage gymnasts on their team, how the chicoms were doing this and that that weren't things that honorable people do. I assumed when I typed what I originally typed, from which you extracted one sentence as a means to attack me, that people understood without me having to spell those differences out who/what the chinese communist trash are and always will be. Why should we be surprised at anything those trash do? (Note I didn't capitalize "chinese" or "communist" as would normally be required of a proper noun because I don't respect the Filthy Thug Trash chinese communists). You may be "bizarro", but its not because of FR. Have a nice freaking day.

You are making a lot of assumptions about the people that protest against Chinese domination of Tibet. Not all of them are Hollywood Parlour Buddhists. Many are Tibetan and Chinese exiles some of whom are of the Christian as well as Buddhist faith.

Your little light is looking like a mighty dim bulb to me right now.

Absolutely. The ChiComs oppress all people of faith, Tibetan Buddhist, Falun Gong, Confucians and Christians. We should support anyone brave enough to protest ChiCom oppression on their own turf, not make snarky comments about them from behind a keyboard thousands of miles away safely in the USA.
