Who knows, but I sort of expect it to be an unknown. That would be what is probably a necessary deferral to the McCain, maverick ego, with a touch of short man’s disease also to be considered.

I think it would be a bold choice by McCain

The question is, does McCain feel so confident of winning that he will go for the safe choice rather than a bold choice? A safe choice gets us Pawlenty or Romney. A bold choice gets us a Cantor or a Palin.
