Flipping through the channels I saw bubba speaking and listened for about 20 seconds the way one looks when they witness a car crash. He said that it’s time for us to restore our position of leadership in the world.

Okay bubba, the biggest thing going on in the world right now is the WOT and we are leading the way. We are paying the biggest price both in lives and treasure.

Oh......I know, the dems must mean that it’s time we stop caring so much about things like collateral damage and start fighting this war the way it should be fought. That must be it. It’s the only thing that makes sense, since the biggest threat to the world is terrorism and we are leading the fight against it.

Must correct myself. What I didn't catch was Obama's excuse for moving the convention to the stadium, but I've finally heard it on a replay. He said it was so that there was room for everyone who wanted to come to the party.

In reality I just noticed that on Thursday the Demorat Convention will have Shawn Johnson (gymnast) leading the Pledge of Allegiance.
I loved her so much during the Olympics, now this is gonna screw up my liking her. Darn it!
