ANY non-profit can apply for a grant. Wrights church, although disgusting spiritually, did a lot of community work and those government filings would have been the basis for the grants to Trinity.

Sure. They can’t discriminate against any religious group, so that means that a fair amount of money will be used destructively.

In Chicago, no doubt Wright’s church helped feed the poor, but they did so within the political system of the Daley mob, providing votes from the black community.

And, as I said, no doubt some of the money goes to mosques and is used to fund terrorists and teach kids that Jews are dogs and pigs.

That’s what happens when you have to treat all “religions” the same.
