I think KBH would be a good choice; she is articulate and projects a moderate image, even though well inside the conservative camp on most issues, including abortion.
I agree with you. KBH’s record, from all appearances, seems to be that of a pretty solid conservative. Perhaps not perfect, but none of them are. While many don’t want another senator, its not really a negative considering that the opposition ticket has no executive experience, either. And she brings 15 years experience in her current position.
Much like the primary field, I really don’t see a perfect candidate here. The only real negative of KBH seems to be age, but I’m much more concerned of whether she’s capable of doing the job or not. That age stuff sounds more like something the Dems would say.
So in the end, I would put her high on the list of possibilities. That’s not to say she’s my #1 choice, but she’s a good one, as far as I’m concerned. He could do a hell of a lot worse.
