I didn't watch Hillary's speech, but my mother did.

She used the word UTOPIA.

I remember just after Billy Jeff took office, after promising the same middle tax cut that's being promised now.

He tried with all of his might to find a way to cut the middle class's taxes.

He just couldn't figure out how.

I'll say it again. Beware the apparently dead monster! The more dead the monster looks the more greater the danger. I just can't imagine Hillary going quietly into the dark night like this. She's up to something, you can bet on it.

Could be the roll call vote, could even be well after the convention is over and we're knee-deep in campaigning. I would still be willing to put money Obama not being the candidate of the Democrats. Color me skeptical, or suspicious or whatever, but I don't think we're rid of her just yet! In fact, just like in the waning minute or so of the big game the offense always has a guy deep in the backfield just to be sure a fumble doesn't get picked up and run back for a winning score. Obama better have someone back there ready to take her out if need be.
