I think he’s a flake too but I doubt that Hugh Downs wrote this. I’m just too lazy to go to Snopes and try to prove it. Bdesides, I don’t accept Snopes as the be all and end all when it comes to fact checking.

I agree with you - Snopes is a Leftist site run by Leftist activists who manipulate information to support the Leftist agenda.
And there are Freepers who worship Snopes the way white women love Obama.
