Money line:
... conservatives tend to view higher civilization as more fragile than the left views it. Conservatives believe the line between civilization and barbarism is under constant assault and is not necessarily enduring.
Conservatives are better students of history than are liberals. The road of history is littered with the carcasses of advanced civilizations.

The road of history is littered with the carcasses of advanced civilizations.Indeed.
And, in fact, the lesson of history is that no civilization survives. It advances until it dies.

To that end they try to leglislate or regulate any code, law or practice of moral, or logical behaviour out of existance. They really just have no clue. They aren't students of history. They are DESTROYERs of history. Lastly, I can't help but picture the Orwellian nightmare they will create if they are successful in their quest to cleanse us of our Western Civ heritage. Why does the movie Idiocracy keep popping back into my mind when I think of Liberals?
