Two things kind of scare me about him... He is a Jew (lots of anti-Semites out there) and his Wikipedia page says he represents a wealthy district, which will help the Marxists portray this as some kind of a class warfare election.
Cantor grew up solidly middle class. No Romney-silver spoon trust fund issues.
This would be a very interesting pick. Do not fear Cantor’s faith being a problem - in fact, with the MSM it would guarantee McCain better treatment and coverage. And Cantor’s faith would help in Florida, Pennsylvania, Connecticut, and northern Virginia.
I just want reassurance that this guy won’t get crushed by Biden in a debate —
I used to live in his district (Virginia Seventh)...it’s mostly middle-class, stretching from the better Richmond suburbs (north, west, and southwest) all the way northwest to the east side of the Shenendoah Valley. The bulk of the ground area is rural or small-town, but I think the bulk of the people live in the Richmond burbs. There’s pockets of money here and there, but the majority of it is going to be middle-class, really.

So you recommend that we let the Marxist RATS set the agenda?

“ots of anti-Semites out there”
Not in Republican circles. We pulled Pat Buchanon’s card.
The remaining anti-semites are the advisors to Barack Hussein Obama.
I don't think the wealthy district is an issue. Jewish could be, but it didn't stop Gore-Lieberman from getting more votes than Buch-Cheney, and I was a bit saddened to learn this year that Mormon is at least as big a problem.
From a practical standpoint, the dems won't come anywhere near using it, and the nutballs who hate Jews don't love blacks either.
