How can anyone who calls themself a conservative be for making English the national language? If the Founding Fathers didn't see fit make English the national language, why should we?

I dare say the founding fathers would not have expected the Supreme Court to do many of the unconstitutional things it has done such as require the states to provide for education for Illegal Alien children and health and welfare etc that requires the need for laws or planks such as this.

Furthermore, there are such things as Amendments to the constitution and some of those Amendments were needed.
