I believe McCain will lose for sure if he doesn’t pick a pro-life VP. He has to back up his WORDS at Saddleback with ACTION.

Thanks for the post, SampleMan. I plan to bring up your idea as a discussion starter in my state. The good folks of Colorado have provided an excellent example of how to take the personhood issue to the ballot. I'd like to do something similar here in Maryland. The process for amending the state constitution here goes through the legislature, so strategy like yours is especially relevant here.
