After all the years of living with visibility of the flight path, it still catches me off-guard sometimes, watching just how MANY flights are ongoing at any given time, it’s so busy — especially at night when you can watch the lights one after the next. So, yeah. Having it disappear is disconcerting.
Oh, it is eerie. I live five miles from an airport. I haven’t ssen a plane all afternoon, not even small craft which are usually up there on a beautiful weather day in Pennsylvania.
