*What if at the last moment (stage time), Bill decides not to speak?*
Now that would be major, on the other hand if Bill was dead he would still get up there and speak.

Just my two cents, Hillary (and Chelsea) both looked lovely tonite. I was surprised by the choice of orange...somebody on the 'team' thought it was best w/the background colors, etc. Hillary looked good in it.
When she (weakly) endorsed BHO in the fourth sentence, I thought, uh oh, but then the subsequent mentions (to me) where even more tepid. It was about her...her campaign; her supporters; her intentions for America. I caught (w/a startle) the 'my friend, John McCain' but no Barrack is my friend; equal; or ready to lead.
Shelli stares daggers...and I laughed (inappropriate I know) when Bill's 'big moment' was to get the widow Gwatney and the son of Tubbs to 'stand' and 'now sit' (he grabbed both their arms...going up and pulling them back down...Bill, ya hit your mark.)
Tomorrow is the day of days though...roll call or no roll call? Bill...filtered or unfiltered? Hmmmm....
And lastly, I loved the 'sisterhood of the travelling pantsuit.' Like the 50 states (not 57!); and the 'proud' comments; I took it as another lob towards BHO...who has noooooooooo sense of humor about himself. Ever.
