awersome.. I was in 19th as well. California.
Is that you, Joe Biden?
What with San Francisco being a Sanctuary City they’ll probably use that locale as their base of operations.
Is there turf-war going on over lettuce patches? Or could this this be yet another horror induced by global warming?
LOL!
I’d be banned for saying what I’d like to say regarding your blatent insult hurled at someone you have no knowledge of. Suffice it to say that your comment is what I’d expect from liberals.
I do know that both you and Biden are both big fans of the War on Drugs. Sorry if you're ashamed of that.
You misunderstand. I’m in no way ashamed of the fact that I’m anti-illegal drug use/abuse and anti-prescription drug abuse, and I have no problem with acknowledging I hold this position. But, simply because an idiot like Biden also holds that opinion does in no way equate the two of us. I have the opinion that people have an obligation to behave morally and work for the betterment of their communities, and drug use/abuse is antithetical to this outcome.
In your post you attempted to insult me by equating me to Biden, and I doubt you were only speaking about this one issue. You don’t agree with the postion I take on the WOD. Most of this nation disagrees with you and agrees with me. I’m sorry that you are on the wrong side of this issue.
There USED to be a deeper committment to morality in this country.....or at least a greater sense of propriety in the common man which kept one in check. Nowadays....not so much.
It's unfortunate...but that was well-orchestrated to turn us into a socialist country.
We believe that rugged individualism and personal responsibility is key here, don't we?
WE do.... yes. 50% of the population does not.
Doesn't that extend to plants that grow that we may or may not consume as well?
Just because you think YOU'D be responsible with your pot habit.. doesn't mean everyone else would. Any substance that alters your perception or state of conciousness ...is open for the abuse factor.
Want to grow your own weed? Go ahead. If it's only a couple plants for personal use.....the most you'd probably get is a misdemeanor. Just stay at home and out of your car. :)
You are correct about that, but may I also point out the vast majority of Freepers agree with me on this rather than you. I take their opinion more seriously than the average idiot in this country nowadays.
Provide your evidence that the majority of FReepers agree with you on legalizing drugs in this country or do not make this claim. Personally I think you are full of BS with such a statement. Prove me wrong.
Look at any FR thread having to do with the war on drugs, bro. There are about 5 of you that are supporters of it.
I am very pro law enforcement. However, throwing millions of Americans into cages for drugs has not, and will not work. From the top to bottom in this country, many Americans have problems with drugs of all kinds. But throwing them in cages is certainly not the answer. If we can send billions annually to every other country on earth, we can certainly help out Americans that want help, without throwing our own people into prisons.
This war on drugs only perpetuates gangs and cartels that have made billions in the business. As long as drugs are illegal, the gangs and cartels will continue to thrive.
That’s your evidence? Threads on a website about drug use/abuse? Oh, so scientific!!!!!!/sarc Point/set/match - you lost.
I agree with jmc813.. the war on drugs needs to go. what have we accomplished?? well lets see.. our prisons are full.. the government has an excuse to squeeze us all for obscene amounts of money.. and on the bright side, we dont have to use our brains to decide whats good and whats bad for us. and we can still get drugs if we want them. yep, working out real well
