Which reminds me. When it comes to regulating the ways
LPGA’s tour pros use their tongues, their English proficiency wouldn’t have been the first thing to come to mind.

Word on the street is that most LPGA members already are.

Now, many men have argued politics with Natalie G.

Some have said it is a question of corporate money -- I think it is more a question of team loyalty and usefulness. When Yao Ming got here, I don't thnk he could speak a word of English, but Houston didn't care if he could make them win. Same for some of the Japanese baseball players -- if they make the home team win, it's fine. But golf being an individual sport, there is some resistence to seeing "furriners" run off with the swag.

If suddenly some Azerbaijani could out-drive and out- putt Tiger, you might see some of the same complaints on the PGA tour??

I spent an entire week this past July with the players at the P7G Beauty Northwest Arkansas Championship. Let me tell you, the foreign players are trying VERY hard to speak English

I spoke with nearly every player, I could tell they were trying.

The LPGA encourages the players to be very open with the fans, and the players I talked to were very outgoing and cooperative.

I think this rule is superfluous-the players are already learning English.
