I’d love to see a good poll from a good pollster on the % of hillary rats planning to vote McCain...

CNN had a poll a few days ago that gave that figure as around 25%-27%. I wouldn’t count on it holding, however.

A couple more zingers like this in the mainstream press (ABC no less) and the party may be over for Obama...at least in the national election!

Given the scripted nature of the Democrats contrived lovefest when visceral hate is just under the surface, I'd like to see commentators start asking the pollsters:
"How big a bounce do you think McCain will get on Friday immediately after Barack's nomination?"

Someone tell these “bitter” white girls and old ladies that their time as a useful idiot is over. The feminists can join the Mensheviks in history’s dust bin.

Liberals attacking Obama lapdog Sissy Matthews — Priceless!
To: george76
I don’t think it is a matter of Hillary supporters actually going to the polls and voting for McCain. At the end of the day, they will come home and vote democrat. . . if they vote. That is the real question and danger to Obama, how many Hillary supporters will simply sit out the election?

Democrats will be bitter clingers to Obama by mid-September.

Yes but of course ALL of these disaffected rats will jump back and vote for the barack mcgovern/abortion joe biden-biden ticket. Just as that jackass beckel he’ll tell you!
I all my years of watching politics and being in politics I have never seen this many “antis” to their own party, in a presidential race this late in the game.
The ratmedia can spin themselves silly but the truth is that right now B-mac has of 74% rank and file rat support. Can he reverse that? No.

The way this is going, Obama will come out of this convention 5 points lower. I've NEVER, in the over 30 years I've been following politics, seen such mishandling, mismanaging and misjudgement as I have by the Dems this year. It's breathtaking.
Does anyone think that Hillary will do anything else but rally the troops behind Obama tonight? I mean, she's between a rock and a hard place here...I just can't see her doing anything else.

For every MeCain supporting Hillary delegate & supporter we hear about, there may be millions just like them.
Between the Democrat Women and the Archie Bunker Democrat Men voting for MeCain or staying home or voting 3rd Party, this a serious problem for the "win in a landslide" party.

Can anyone suggest the best tasting popcorn. I love the theater butter taste but am worried that I may be killing myself (up to 10 packages a day now). Is there a safe butter taste popcorn out there? Also will appreciate tips on how to keep the TV remote grease free during the convention. Hot towels? Paper towels?

That line should be the remembered one from the whole 2008 election.
