Yeah, the family - asleep in their beds at 4 a.m. - was threatened by a dog crawling under a hole in the fence. If he was so worried, why didn’t he fill in the hole? Because that’s not nearly as dramatic and macho as killing an animal.
This dude’s story is lame. Especially galling is him shooting the second dog in its own yard.
“Oh my, the dog glanced at the hole!”
Yeah, perhaps looking at its sister the jerk just wasted.
So then it’s understood, you are OK with your dog entering someones fenced yard. So you would be okay with your neighbors mastiff coming over and threatening your children or pets?
“If he was so worried, why didnt he fill in the hole? Because thats not nearly as dramatic and macho as killing an animal.”
Maybe the dog’s OWNER should have done something to restrain his pet(s).
Always the last bastion of an irresponsible pet owner: Make it someone else’s fault or responsibility.
YOUR irresponsibility to take care of YOUR pet, should NOT put a burden on ME.
What eastforker failed to notice was that the second dog was in the shooter’s yard. He started to walk back to his own yard and turned back around. The dog was not shot in it’s own yard, it ran back to it AFTER being shot.
