Perhaps, Brian Maass wants out of the Denver Market and his subject thinks he is working on a deal for reduced sentence. Possession of narcotics and firearms at the same time carries a fairly substantial amount of time.

“Officials with the U.S. Attorney’s office in Denver said they do not believe there is a credible threat to Obama or the convention.”

Meth possession and a rifle “sighted in at 750 yards” equals a fantasy and a need for that “fifteen minutes of fame”. Metro Denver and 750 yard target acquisition are totally incongruous. This is the kind of “stuff” that only works in the movies and only because the script writer says it does.

I’m also having an issue with that whole 750 yards thing.

Seems like if he can’t even drive his truck, he wouldn’t be able to sight in a rifle at 750 yards.

Sighting in a rifle at 750 yards sounds very difficult to me, but then I am far from a gun expert and I’m not that great of a shot.
