I’m not sure the Chinese system is superior.

They find a target, set it, and aim all their resources (including people and the souls and bodies) towards it and damn the consequences. And they win, no doubt.

But does this really create a whole society? They have to create a huge bureaucracy and totally disrupt the family for this. This has to not only have consequences elsewhere, but also the method itself is flawed.

For instance, I see no room for innovation. If you notice, the Americans always excel in the “up and coming” sports.

They do this all with “volunteers”. But the reason people volunteer is their lives are so horrendous this is their hope.

The frightening thing is, they are working their army in the same direction. In another post I mentioned Ancient Sparta. They used to take young children away from their parents and abuse them to make perfect soldiers out of them.
