An alleged plan to shoot from 750 yards away with one rifle with a telescopic sight by several druggies may be suspect to say the least

2,250 feet is not a shot Carlos Hathcock would attempt without a tuned custom built sniper rifle and scope and years of target practice and experience

Height, angle, wind velocity, lighting, cartridge load - without actual practice shots fired from that exact same place and distance it is unlikely that the shot could be made

But what do I know.....

One of men arrested is named Nathan Johnson, age 32.

For what it’s worth, a “Nathan Johnson” was interviewed by the BATF as part of the investigation into the Columbine massacre(4-20-99), as this person worked at the same pizza parlor that employed the alleged gunmen in that incident.

What we do know is that, staged or real, Obama’s campaign will milk this for all it’s worth. They’ll use this to launch a new round of ‘white guilt’ attacks. They’ll blame conservative talk radio hosts and Internet columnists for this. They’ll blame Bush and McCain. They’ll try to associate anyone who opposes Obama for any reason with violent white supremacist groups. Be warned.

How come we never hear about the attempts on Sen. McCain or Sarah Palin's lives? No doubt there's been threats, considering how the media has been all but beating the drum to have them killed.
