I heard a libtard on TV last night or this morning saying that she thinks McCain is exploiting his POW status.
Excuse me! How can you exploit yourself?! He was a POW. Period. There is nothing to exploit.
Furthermore, how can she or anyone else question him on that point?! There are plenty of things to criticize McCain on, but his POW background is not one of them.
Because, of course, a Democrap candidate would NEVER dream of exploiting his "service" in Viet Nam now, would he?
Most of my younger liberal friends hate McCain just like they hate Bush. Not “disagree with,” not “dislike.” HATE. They hate anything Republican or even faintly conservative. They are classic smug big-city liberals who automatically know that they’re superior to us dolts in red-state flyover country. And part of that is that while some of them respect what McCain went through, to a person, they all think that he’s just running on being a “war hero”...they think that he’s got nothing else but the fact that he was a POW for five and a half years.
Basically they think he’s using his “war hero” status the same way that Obama is using his race—a topic that May Not Be Discussed, and as a bludgeon against anyone who dares disagree with him. It’s crazy and it’s BS, but that’s how they see things over on the loony left.
