yep - children who think they’re chic and radical - and some sad people who miss their hippy days, from what I can tell. Like toddlers throwing their little temper tantrums to exercise their “power.”
Yeah, I’m just catching up to myself. It appears the KOS blogger wasn’t suggesting it for a prison guard effect, just “7 houses”. Someone is taking this idea and twisting it to the prison guard effect. I didn’t get through reading all KOS comments under this blog.
Maybe DU took the idea and twisted it to use cruelly.
I have to go back to DU threads I posted here and see who suggested it. I think it is one of threads and a poster at DU is blaming the suggestion on a right wing troll because he just has 79 posts there at DU.
That link(post 30) needs to be save. Within the text they talked about scrubbing the thread clean.
at the DUmp, you are completely suspect UNTIL you reach the magic 1000 post mark..then you have latitude in your comments. Until then, any negative comment labels you a troll..
Yeah, I saw that too. It’s all a “right wingnut’s” fault that they took a bad idea and made it worse. They are such children.
Thanks. Catching up to myself. From perusing the comments, quite a few DUers are not supportive of using the key jangling. On the other side, one commenter said that obama should keep some keys on his podium.
I am certainly no McCain booster.
That being said, all McCain needs to do is put a smile on his face, ignore the noise, and remain calm and reposed.
It’ll drive the left nuts.
There just a bunch of spoiled children.

My post 30 link. You save?
You forget who we are dealing with here. He's a bit of an explosive hothead and they know it.
We can match that ‘key rattling’ with ‘Talon zipping’. (OK, Talon is a brand of zipper in trousers) to remind them about sex scandals.
Hmm, maybe not. This is really getting ridiculous, you know.

yes some of the comments in the thread you linked to (30) mention that the whole thread should be cleaned up so they are not blamed for coming up with the idea.
“That’s what I got from skimming. Didn’t want to walk all the way in.”
I saw where they were blaming a troll. I do the same thing, peruse through the comments. They are so hard to read, it hurts-oww.
LOL, oh my, if this key rattling bs gets to Sen. McCain’s camp, your post should too! LOL
I don’t think mocking a POW by reminding him of his captors will go over real well with the voters. Talk about low, and if they continue this no one will have to point out that they don’t really support the military- they will be proving it every time they rattle the keys.
Dunno if I buy your take on this. The fans of teams that play USC in the PAC-10 are known for jingling their keys as a dig on USC’s student’s reputation as a bunch of rich kids (mocking them for having expensive cars- doesn’t make much sense to me, but whatever).
I can see this coming out of that practice.
I pinged “Blogger” to your post to screen capture DU thread. If he doesn’t get to it, someone else could. I don’t know how, but now I think I should learn so I don’t put it all on others to do, :)
See this thread.

The idea originated at KOS as a way to rattle Sen. McCAin because of his owning 7 houses. DU picked up on it and it got twisted to use it against McCain to remind him of prison guard keys. POW bad memories.
I think the point here is that what started as a taunt on his 7 houses has morphed into the prison guard imitation.
