Presenter Lyse Doucet’s astonishing statement comes as an Apache gunship hero revealed the fanatics aim to capture a British soldier and SKIN HIM LIVE on the internet.

But, but, but ... I thought Obama’s “Kum-Bay-Ya Plan” to sit down and talk to these people was the way to go?
I wonder if Doucet knows that Hitler loved his dog? And he certainly was willing to talk to the British government. Maybe she could demand that the British schools add a chapter on his humanity to their textbooks.

People like that need to be interned, imprisoned, or killed. Nations can't survive if they don't take action (or allow private citizens to take action) against their internal enemies.
I don't know what could actually help this woman, other than sending her over to Afghanistan to live with the Taliban permanently, as I would be prone to do if I ruled the world. ;)
There is a reason that British soldiers who fought in Afghanistan during the nineteenth century always tried to save a last bullet for themselves.

She sounds like your typical liberal. Our enemies, no matter how reprehensible, are human. We, ourselves, are the ones who are inhuman. If you have this mindset, the need to show the “human” side of the Taliban is obvious.
