That is funny, for years Russians have watched South American and Mexican soap operas dubbed into Russian! My Russian “friends” moms would watch these Spanish speaking and looking actors dubbed over, and even the cites had the names changed to Russian ones. I asked a friend of mine what about the Palm trees and blue water and she would shrug her shoulders and roll her eyes in typical Russian fashion and say “Georgia or the Crimea”.

The classic ones have one or two male voices dubbing all the voices, male and female. LOL
