Such mangled malicious metaphors would never escaped the mouth of a Real Marine.
A Rear Marine would have never melted down to the point where some faceless someone on the internet could scold them into loosing their temper after having a DI’s screams reverberating their ear drums at point blank range.
A Real Marine would demand not that an internet image be accepted at face value but that for the sake of the country as well as the rule of law it should be tested legally in a court of law, instead of in the ether of electrons we call the internet.
A Real Marine would not blithely refer to themselves as a “former jarhead” knowing full well how that term has been used to insult the ranks of his brothers and sisters that have earned the right to the Title MARINE.
A Real Marine would take pride in that which the Corps had instilled in them.
