The California Left assumes that, even if they should destroy the California economy--something they consider hardly possible--their economy and programs would still be financed by the solvency of the rest of the nation.

This may be giving them too much credit. Most of them probably don't even think that far.

They're living in a dream world.

Twenty-first century California is disturbingly reminiscent of the Old South--dominated by delusionals who refuse to face reality and cannot imagine destruction. The Fall of California promises to be every bit as tragic as the Fall of Dixie and for very much the same reasons--hubris and denial.

I loved the title of that movie "To Live and Die in L.A."

I wonder how many California Leftists fail to grasp the irony.

Not just CA's....There are plenty of my fellow NYSers who think the nation's taxpayers owe them a living.
