Just so you know, this was a “boutique” hospital. We had very few illegal immigrants coming through the doors. It was a mismanaged facility that spent millions on renovations, and not enough on the supplies needed for patient care. Although I am well aware of what illegal immigrants have done to destroy our healthcare system here in SOCAL, this hospital was not a victim to that. It was a victim of self-serving upper administration and the founding Doctors that felt it was more important to line their pockets, than pay their employees. We are without 3 weeks of pay, they shut the doors with NO NOTICE. We were even told on Friday that there was still a chance that a last minute buyer would come through. We were lied to, all in the name of money, and it is a disgrace.
